Seasickness is a reaction to the unfamiliar motion of being on a boat. While most guests don’t experience it, a small percentage of people, particularly those who are prone to other forms of motion sickness, may be more susceptible. If you do start feeling seasick, no worries—just let a crew member know, and we’ll try to help you feel better.
To help minimize your chances of seasickness, here are a few tips:
Stay above deck and get some fresh air
Focus on the horizon instead of looking at your phone or reading a book
Avoid spending time in the cabin or restroom area
Stay in the shade and out of direct sunlight
Sail on a full stomach, and try to avoid foods that might upset your stomach
